About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to advance your skills while making a meaningful contribution to a community-based pharmacy that prioritizes work-life balance. As an integral part of the experienced team, your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of daily dispensary operations. This includes dispensing medications, providing valuable counseling to customers, managing stock orders, and ensuring efficient dispensary control.

Working alongside another Pharmacist (depending on the day), a dedicated Dispense Technician, an Intern, and a team of 5 Pharmacy Assistants, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to the community.

  • Dispense: MINFOS or Z
  • Hours per week: 38
  • Pharmacotherapy: Yes
  • Nursing Home: No
  • Medcheks: Yes
  • DAAs service: Yes
  • Rotating roster: you will be required to work 1 weekend once per month.
  • Trading hours: Monday to Friday: 7 am to 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday: 8 am to 6 pm.

To Be Successful In This Role:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in a busy pharmacy or the ability to adapt to a busy pace
  • Ability to address client needs with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and counseling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • A genuine desire to build and maintain a strong rapport with the community
  • Provide quality care services
  • Vaccination certificate desired, not essential
