About The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career and become part of a community-based pharmacy that places a strong emphasis on maintaining an outstanding work-life balance. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated and extremely experienced team, that has a strong team-first culture within the Pharmacy, including 4 technicians and 6 pharmacy assistants.

  • Medication Management: Ensure precise dispensing and manage medication therapy to optimize patient health outcomes.
  • Expert Consultations: Provide expert advice, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Specialized Services: Expand your practice with services like vaccinations, health screenings, and medication reviews.
  • Community Engagement: Host wellness events, workshops, and support groups, making the pharmacy a trusted healthcare destination.
  • Leadership: Lead by example, manage budgets, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Prepare KPI reports, budget trackers, and strategic business plans.
  • Scripts per day: 300-350
  • Dispense: MINFOS
  • Pharmacotherapy: No
  • Nursing Home: No
  • Services provided: Blood Glucose Testing, DAA, Home Delivery Services (Individuals in Community), Home Medicines Review, Needle and Syringe, Smoking Cessation, Health Aids & Equipment.
  • Trading hours: Monday to Friday  8:30 am–6:30 pm, Saturday 8:30 am–5 pm, and Sunday 9 am–4 pm

 

To Be Successful In This Role:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Current Ahpra Registration & Working with Children Check
  • Experience with 7CPA professional services, DAA’s, and QCPP regulations
  • Skills in budget, wages, and GP management
  • Vaccination training
  • Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • A genuine desire to build and maintain a strong rapport with the community
  • Experience is required
