About the Location:

The Sunshine Coast, located in southern Queensland, Australia, is a picturesque region encompassing beach resorts, renowned surf spots, and serene rural hinterland. ​About the Role:

This presents an exceptional opportunity to expand your skills and become part of a community-focused pharmacy. Your daily responsibilities will involve dispensing medications and offering valuable patient counseling. On weekends, you will function as the sole pharmacist, while on weekdays, you will collaborate with 1-2 other pharmacists and enjoy technician support.

  • Scripts per day: 300-400
  • Dispense: MINFOS
  • Pharmacotherapy: No
  • Webster packing:  DAA packing, mostly roll packing, and a technician looks after it all so minimal input is needed from the pharmacist
  • Roster: Monday: 8.30 am – 6 pm, Thursday: 8.30 am – 4 pm, Friday: 8 am  – 6 pm. Weekends: Ideally we would want the new Pharmacist to work 1 in every third weekend on both Saturday (8.30 am– 5 pm) and Sunday (10 am  – 4 pm). Rotating weekend: 1-3 weekends required.
  • Trading hours: Monday to Wednesday and Friday: 8;30 am to 6 pm, Thursday: 8:30 am to 7 pm, Saturday: 8:30 am to 5 pm, and Sundays: 10:30 am to 4 pm.

To Be Successful In This Role:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in a busy pharmacy or the ability to adapt to a busy pace
  • Ability to address client needs with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and counseling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • A genuine desire to build and maintain a strong rapport with the community
  • Provide quality care services
