​About the Role:

Embrace the chance to hone your skills and contribute to your community as you join a community-based pharmacy. Your daily responsibilities will include dispensing medications and providing vital counseling to patients. In this role as the sole Pharmacist, you’ll be at the heart of the pharmacy’s operations. Additionally, the store is expected to become busier with the completion of the new store upstairs, offering exciting opportunities for growth.

  • Scripts per day: 40
  • Dispense: FRED
  • Pharmacotherapy: No
  • Nursing Home: Yes
  • Vaccination services: Yes
  • Trading hours: Monday closed. Tuesday to Friday: 8 am to 6 pm, Saturday: 8 am to 5 pm, and Sunday: 9 am to 4 pm.

To Be Successful In This Role:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in a busy pharmacy or the ability to adapt to a busy pace
  • Ability to address client needs with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and counselling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • A genuine desire to build and maintain a strong rapport with the community
  • Provide quality care services
