The Sunshine Coast, situated in southern Queensland, Australia, is a captivating region offering a delightful blend of coastal beauty and rural hinterland. Located 10 minutes’ drive south of Peregian Springs.

About the Role:

Joining this community-based pharmacy presents an excellent opportunity for achieving work-life balance. As a vital member of the experienced team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dispensary. Your responsibilities will encompass dispensing medications, providing valuable counseling to customers, managing stock orders, and ensuring the seamless functioning of the pharmacy.

  • Scripts per day: 175
  • Dispense: FRED NXT
  • 30 websters packed check by others
  • Nursing Home: No
  • Roster:  Monday from 8 am to 6 pm (solo pharmacist with a dispense assistant), Tuesday: 8 am to 6 pm (solo pharmacist with a dispense assistant), Wednesday 8 am to 6 pm (solo pharmacist with an Intern) and Sunday 9 am to 2 pm (solo pharmacist with an Intern)
  • Trading hours: Monday to Friday: 8 am to 6 pm, Saturday: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and Sunday: 9 am to 2 pm

To Be Successful In This Role:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in a busy pharmacy or the ability to adapt to a busy pace
  • Ability to address client needs with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and counselling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • A genuine desire to build and maintain a strong rapport with the community
  • Provide quality care services
  • Vaccination certificate desired, not essential
