About the Role:

Joining this community-based pharmacy team offers you an excellent work-life balance and the chance to enhance your skills. As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for the daily operations of the dispensary. This includes dispensing medications, counselling customers, managing stock orders, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. Depending on the day, you’ll collaborate with 9 staff members (3 PAs, 1 RM, 2 Pharmacists, 1 Intern, 2 techs).

  • Scripts per day: 500
  • Dispense: Fred Plus
  • Webster Packs: 300 (packed off-site)
  • Professional services: Vaccination, NDSS, Medschecks, DAA, Blood Pressure checks
  • Nursing Home: No
  • Pharmacotherapy: No
  • Rowa: Yes
  • 5 days, Tuesday to Saturday (3.5 hours on Saturdays)
  • Trading hours: Monday-Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Saturday: 8:30 am – 12 pm, Sunday: CLOSED

 

To Be Successful In This Role:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in a busy pharmacy or the ability to adapt to a busy pace
  • Ability to address client needs with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and counseling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • A genuine desire to build and maintain a strong rapport with the community
  • Provide quality care services
