About the Location:

This is one of the largest remote towns in the Northern Territory, and is located approximately 500km.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Generous salary, including support with relocation
  • Fly-in-fly-out additional daily bonuses, flights and accommodation paid
  • 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster (longer or shorter periods by negotiation)
  • Conditions in regional sites are negotiable, with accommodation and transport available

You’ll combine clinical expertise with purpose, all while exploring one of the most breathtaking and culturally rich regions in the world.

  • Sole pharmacist position
  • Scripts per day: 100
  • Provide pharmacy services to a high professional standard
  •  Establish and maintain strong relationships with local health professionals
  •  Deliver culturally sensitive practices in daily interactions, particularly with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  •  Contribute to the positive and friendly atmosphere of the pharmacy
  •  Dependent on experience, supervise and coach intern pharmacists
  •  8CPA claiming
  •  Ensure compliance with QCPP policy and procedures
  •  Contribute to a collaborative workplace, working closely with Regional Operations Managers, State Managers and Chief Pharmacist.

To Be Successful In This Role:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in a clinical or community pharmacy setting
  • Willingness to undertake professional development opportunities
  • Demonstrated clinical competence and confidence, with the ability to exercise sound professional judgement
  • Strong understanding of the health issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work respectfully with culturally diverse patients and colleagues
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including attending team meetings
  • High level of attention to detail and strong skills in medication safety, reconciliation and error checking
  • Immunisation accreditation in accordance with state/territory guidelines, or willingness to complete
